Pošta Crne Gore (Montenegro Post)
Montenegro's national postal service provider is Pošta Crne Gore, also known as the Post of Montenegro. It came into existence on December 31, 1998, due to the division of PTT Montenegro into two separate entities: Crnogorski Telekom for telecommunications and Pošta Crne Gore for postal services. The history of public postal service in Montenegro dates back to 1841, with the first postage stamp printed in 1874. Montenegro became a member of the Universal Postal Union on July 26, 2006, almost two months after achieving independence as a country. Pošta Crne Gore is crucial for communication and providing postal services across Montenegro. It is a reliable provider of postal solutions, catering to the changing requirements of individuals, businesses, and institutions nationwide.
